Anybody catch that little news item about the sawed-off foot found in the Virginia landfill? If that's all there were to the story, it wouldn't have caught my interest, but here's the thing: they're saying now the foot is "ape-like," not from a human at all.

Now I'm running through all sorts of scenarios in my head. Who chopped off that poor ape's foot? And why? Is the rest of the ape lying around somewhere?

Oh, and the name of the town is Spotsylvania.
