Our chickens have started laying eggs pretty regularly, 1-4 a day, almost too many for us to eat. They're smaller than the commercial eggs you get at the store, with an almost fluorescent bright yellow yolk.

It satisfies some deep agrarian, survivalist impulse in me to have my own steady food source, though at first it was a bit gross eating something that was squirted out of a pet.

the thing about the pet squirting something out and you eating it is disgusting, james. also, massive intake of eggs is kind of disgusting. can't you guys have a coop that raises pad thai?

best wishes,
gabrielle

Pad Thai is never good when you make it yourself.
